Assessment order terms
Version draft-2026-10-07
1. What you are buying
These order terms are between [LEGAL ENTITY NAME AND STATE OF FORMATION — LEGAL DECISION D-01], doing business as Main Revenue (“Main”), and the business that places the order.
A Revenue Control Assessment for up to 5 projects and 90 days of supplied data, for $2,500 (one time). You may add up to 5 projects online at $500 each (10 at most online; more than 10 needs a separate quote). Main reconciles the change orders, schedules of values, payment applications, invoices, payments and retainage records you upload for those projects, has a person at Main review the findings, and delivers a report followed by a readout call.
A “project” is one construction contract identified by a distinct project key in your records [LEGAL DECISION D-21 — confirm project definition and what happens if more projects are uploaded than ordered]. If you upload records for more projects than you ordered, Main will ask which projects to include or offer additional projects for your authorization; nothing is charged without it.
2. What you provide
Exports you already produce (CSV, TXT or macro-free Excel, up to 4 MB each), with the required datasets listed in the app. Files that cannot be read, fail the system checks, or fail malware scanning are refused and must be corrected and uploaded again; column mappings you confirm are saved for next time.
3. Data complete and delivery
The 5-business-day delivery clock starts only when your submission is marked “Data complete”: every required dataset received and passing Main’s system checks, and the imported data summary confirmed by you (a person at Main may also mark it after checking the same things).
The report is due 5 business days after Data complete. Business days exclude weekends and the holidays in Main’s delivery calendar, which the delivery date shown before you pay already accounts for. The delivery date shown before you pay assumes Data complete by the start date shown with it; if Data complete is later, the due date moves by the same number of business days.
Main also shows an “expected by” date for the review of findings, from its internal review target. That date is an estimate, not a commitment; the report due date above is the commitment.
If Main misses the due date: [LEGAL DECISION D-10 — remedy for a missed delivery date, if any].
4. When reviewer capacity is full
If every reviewer slot is taken, checkout offers to reserve the next slot and states the delivery date before you pay.
5. Price, payment and credit
The price, project count and currency are those shown at checkout and recorded with your acceptance. Payment is by card through Stripe; Main never receives card numbers. Your order is confirmed only when Stripe confirms payment to Main.
The full assessment fee ($2,500) is credited toward a qualifying pilot or annual Revenue Control agreement that you start within 30 days after the report is delivered. The credit applies to that agreement’s invoices and is never paid out in cash.
6. Refunds
If the assessment produces no financially relevant reconciliation exceptions that you confirm require correction, follow-up, or further investigation, we will refund the assessment fee. The Refund policy (/revenue/refund-policy) explains how to ask and how refunds are paid.
7. What Main does not do
Main is not a CPA firm and does not perform audits, reviews, compilations, agreed-upon procedures or other attest or assurance services. Findings are possible discrepancies for you to confirm; Main does not guarantee any amount is owed, billable or collectible.
8. Test mode
While checkout runs in Stripe test mode, no real payment is taken and the workspace is labelled as a test.
9. Other terms
The Main Revenue Terms of service, Data Processing Addendum and Privacy Notice, in the versions recorded with your acceptance, also apply.
