About Main AI
Main AI is built by one person, a solo founder in Brooklyn, New York. It helps people deal with bills, letters and companies. Today it fully handles security deposits, and it is not a law firm.
Who builds it
Main AI is a solo project, built in Brooklyn, New York. There is no sales team and no call center: the person who builds it reads what you send.
What it does today
A free security deposit deadline check for your state, drawn from the statute text we have verified — and where we have not verified a state, it says so instead of guessing. If your landlord missed the deadline, a demand letter that cites your state's statute, which a person reviews and you approve before anything is sent. A state law library and document reading that quotes the exact words from your document.
What it does not do
Main AI is not a law firm and does not give legal advice. Debt letters, medical bills and IRS notices are next, not finished. When a question needs a lawyer, we say so.
How legal information is handled
Any statute, deadline or limit Main AI shows comes from a dataset checked against the primary source. The process is written down in our editorial standards.
