Consumer tools refund and cancellation policy

Scope: this page covers paid plans for the Main AI consumer tools, sold by Main AI LLC, a New York limited liability company, PO Box 3, Brooklyn, NY 11218. Main Revenue, the project financial control service for subcontractors, has its own refund and cancellation policy; both are listed at mainai.live/refund-policy.
What you can buy
The free plan costs nothing and includes 3 analyses a month. Pro is $19 a month, or $180 a year ($15 a month, billed once). Prices are shown on the pricing page before you pay, and Stripe shows the exact amount again at checkout. Plans we no longer sell keep the terms they were bought under.
Cancel any time
Email mainaihelp@gmail.com from the address on your account with “Cancel” in the subject. We cancel the subscription in Stripe and confirm by email. You keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for, and nothing is charged after that. There is no cancel button in the app yet.
When we refund
We refund a charge in full if it was taken twice, taken after you cancelled, taken for a plan we no longer offer, or if we could not provide the plan you paid for. Where the law where you live gives you a right to cancel for a refund within a set period, we honour it.
When we do not
We do not refund part of a month or a year you have already started, including an annual plan you cancel part-way through, unless the law requires it. Cancelling stops the next charge; it does not reverse the last one.
Refunds go back to the card you paid with, through Stripe. We issue the refund within 5 business days of agreeing to it; your bank usually shows it within 5 to 10 business days after that.
How to ask for a refund
- Email mainaihelp@gmail.com from the address on your account with “Refund request” in the subject, the date and amount of the charge, and why you are asking.
- We reply within 5 business days with a decision and, if we refund, the Stripe confirmation.
- If you dispute a charge with your bank instead, we answer the dispute with our records of the order; a paid plan may be paused while the dispute is open.
Free plan and free checks
The free plan and the free checkers are not purchases, so there is nothing to refund. Deleting your account ends a free plan immediately; it does not by itself cancel a paid subscription, so cancel first if you have one.
One-time purchases before September 25, 2026
Security-deposit letters were a one-time purchase that we no longer sell. If you bought one and have a question about it, email us with the order date; refund requests for those orders are handled case by case.
