Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)

A contract requiring you to keep certain information secret.

An NDA legally binds you to keep specified information confidential. The terms that matter are what counts as “confidential,” how long the duty lasts, and the consequences of disclosure. Watch for definitions so broad they cover public knowledge or your own general skills.

In practice

A mutual NDA binds both sides; a one-way NDA binds only you — risky if you’re also sharing information.

Don’t just look it up — see it in your document.

Main AI reads your actual contract, lease, or notice and flags exactly where terms like these put you at risk — in plain language, with the law behind it.
